ANIMATION
Animation Toolworks Library of Articles offers many basic articles for beginners in the animation field.
Animation World Network offers a great deal of information, including Animation World Magazine, articles and latest news on animation, and job listings.
Don Markstein's Toonopedia will introduce (or re-introduce) you to the great cartoons in the early days.
Librarians Guide to Anime and Manga is for those librarians who have no idea what anime and manga are.
If you're looking for really early animation (1900-1921), check out Origins of American Animation.
BODY IMAGE
Body Dysmorphic Disorder discusses this disorder that affects mostly teens and younger adults and causes the person to be extremely preoccupied with an undesirable aspect of him or her.
Guy's Body Image offers advice on body image and self-esteem for boys, which is often lacking in most information on body image.
It's My Life is the place to go for information on body image and eating disorders, but for a younger crowd.
Kid's Talk offers a ton of information on how to have a healthy body. Included is a Q&A section ("How Can I Feel Better About My Body?)
