Site Based Management Team

The City Honors' School-Based Management Team makes decisions based on the stated purpose: “To improve the educational performance of students at the school,” (Commissioner's Regulation 100.11).

According to the DCS (District Committee of Stakeholders) of the Buffalo Public Schools, many issues involving the SBMT will fall under the headings of STUDENT SUPPORT, STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT, and PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT. Therefore, to allow for purposeful goal-setting based on state and local guidelines, the SBMT has been divided into those three subcommittees.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 3:45-5PM in the Hilltop Museum.
